LGBTQ+ Elders of Color raises awareness and visibility for LGBTQ+ older adults of color.  We connect individuals and build community through social engagement events in safe and welcoming spaces.  Particular emphasis is on locating and supporting individuals to educate, uplift and prevent self isolation. 

Community events are both social and programmatic enabling folks to meet new people and engage with a diverse peer group.  The programmatic component provides important resource information to quality healthcare and elder care services.  Both initiatives empower individuals to live fuller lives with the dignity and respect they deserve.
